Dear Heiners, Thank you for the wonderful memorial service. Thank you for sharing your amazing David with me. He changed my life. Thank you for spending some time with me while you were in Logan. You showed me great compassion and consideration. David was amazing largely because he has an amazing family.
Daniel & Nate - It was really fun getting to know you! I hope to see you again soon.
Becca - I love you! And will definitely be here for you if you come back to school.
Mark and Vickie - You have shown great courage throughout this tragedy. I can not begin to know your heartache. I wish that I could take it away for you. I appreciate the caring you have shown for me. Like your son did everyday, you made me feel valued. Know that I loved David very much and I will not ever forget him or your family. If there is ever anything I can do to help you, please know that I would do anything for you.
We just heard of your loss and we want you to know you are in our thoughts and in our prayers.
I lost a brother in a drowing accident in 1977 - he was 21 - he left behind a 7-month old son and young wife.
Hold tight to all the wonderful memories you have of your awesome son and brother. I have always held tight to the wonderful memories of my brother, and even though I miss him every day, the wonderful memories have helped to heal the void in my heart and in our family. We talk and laugh often of our memories and goofy escapades my brother was always in the middle of. Talk and laugh often of the wonderful memories of David.
