Logan Memorial Service: Location Change

David's memorial service (to be held in Logan, Utah on July 1st at 11:00 a.m.) has changed locations. It will no longer be held at St. John's Episcopal church. Instead it will take place in the Caine Wanlass Performance Hall on USU's campus. The address is 700 East 1200 North.

Please spread the word.

Thanks,
The Heiner Family and Erin

Dearest Heiner family,
We are extremely sorry about the passing of David and wanted to offer our condolences. Email is such a poor format for this, and normally we would send a real card, but since 9 days already have passed, we decided on to let your know our condolences as soon as we found out of this tragedy.
David was a special caring person, with a tender smile and a loving personality. You were bound to feel connected with him as soon as you met him. David loved everyone and showed, since he was a little child, signs of maturity and of a great leader. We remember when Gaston and Matias moved to Utah, they could not talk a word in English and they felt home-sick. Nevertheless, they told us of this young 9 year old boy, with big blue caring eyes, that with his warmth personality made them feel home and loved. We will be always grateful and honor that our life’s path once crossed with David’s. He will be greatly missed and eternally loved.
It is times like this that we most feel the physical distance that separates us from you and others of our friends; as much as we enjoy our sporadic contact, it would be so much better if we could convey our condolences in person. But at the very least we want you to know that we are out here and care. Please let us know if there is anything we can do. May each of you find the comfort you need in God.
Your argentine family,
Pedro Etchebest Senior and family

Dear Heiner Family,
I was heartbroken to hear of the accident. I did not know David personally. I was a patient of Marks. I heard many great stories of David during some fun conversations. I want to express my love and concern to your family at this time. You are in my prayers. I pray for comfort and peace to be upon your family at this time. Mark you are missed very much here in Utah! Not only are you a great doctor, but a wonderful friend to our family. YOu are irreplacable! Thank you for being part of us!

I just wanted to let you know that the memorial service was really beautiful. It was nice getting to know a little more about David and the very full and rewarding life he lived. He was truly loved and I was very touch. Becca, your piano piece was beautiful and wonderfully played. Thank you all for giving us the opportunity to remember David with you.
Thank you for your examples of strength, courage, and love.
